Thank you

sweater: Stitched & Adorned

I can not possibly write one more post without a Thank You.

From the bottom of my heart,

I want to thank you ALL for the sweet, heartfelt, encouraging comments in response to my guest post yesterday.

You all touched me in a way you could never imagine.

I read every single comment and email and am so grateful for the outpouring of love and support.

For those of you that are struggling currently with a similar situation,

a couple things…

While I am no professional,

and wish I had all the answers, here is what has helped me:

Prayer.

Trusting Jesus.

A support system.

One day at a time.

Follow your heart.

Keep your head up.

Surround yourself with positive people.

Laugh. A lot.

Get involved.

Exercise.

Journal…for me this has been blogging. The best therapy of them all.

    Hello Lindsay!

I’ve been checking your blog regularly and you are truly an inspiration…Life can get really complicated, sometimes it’s hard to look at the positive side of things. But it’s just amazing how trusting Jesus is what can change how you feel and help you get through all those hard times. :)

You are so incredibly brave to have shared your story like that lady! While not having been through that myself, I have loved ones who have and it’s crushing to watch. Hugs!

You are bringing into the light something that so many people want to hide. So proud of you!
I love all your advice. In addition this is some of the other things I did to help my depression and anxiety.
Spend time in the sun (because that is supposed to help), seeing a therapist/support group and staying connected

  6. Hugs Hugs!
