Sunny with a chance of Umbrellas

The independence that three years old brings is astonishing to me. It’s almost as though sending her off to preschool came with a one way ticket to sense of self. Completely in awe of the way this little girl views life.

{because even sunny days call for umbrellas…}

We are a week into the new year and all my intentions of vision boards and goals have yet to be carved out.

I am behind, but trying not to beat myself up over it. I’ll get there. I rung in 2013 with the desire to do less. The pressure I put on myself on a day to day basis was too much. I am trying to proritize my plans and obligations. I am learning to say no. I am redirecting focuses onto things that build me up. I am finding that laughter is the best medicine, and boy has it been in abundance.

How are your new years resolutions holding?

    Hey lady, haven’t been on here in awhile. Right before Christmas I was super sick and dealing with my illness but thankfully I have been great since.
    Your little lady is such a cutie pie. I love the 3 yr old independence. It’s the cutest thing to see them try to figure things out and a lot of times are successful. My 3.5 yr old always makes me smile with the things she says or does or even with just a smile. How lucky are we?
    I do have to say the first thing I noticed besides her cute smile, was her pretty sundress. I was soooo jealous that you guys have weather for that. Today is warm for us, because it hit 37 degrees. Instead of sundresses we are sporting wool hats, tall winter moon boots, and thick warm pants for when we venture outside. ahahahahaha I hate being cold and winter yet I live in New England. I would love to fly south for the winter. Maybe one year.
    Anyways, hope you both are doing well and you guys have a great week there :)
